Terms of Service
Last updated October 14, 2026
These terms cover your use of Resumai at resumai.website. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
The service
Resumai turns the experience you provide into resumes tailored to the job descriptions you paste in, using AI. It is a writing tool. It does not guarantee interviews, offers, or that any resume will pass an applicant tracking system.
Your account
One account per person. Keep your sign-in details secure, and give us accurate information. You are responsible for activity on your account.
Credits and payments
New accounts receive free credits, and each generated resume uses one credit. If a generation fails on our side, the credit is returned automatically. Paid credit packs are processed by Stripe and are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. Credits have no cash value.
Acceptable use
Don't use Resumai to:
- submit content that isn't yours or that you have no right to use,
- attempt to manipulate, bypass, or extract the system's instructions or safeguards,
- automate or resell access, create multiple accounts to collect free credits, or overload the service,
- generate anything unlawful, deceptive, or harmful.
We may limit or close accounts that break these rules.
Your content
You own the resume content you provide and the resumes generated for you. You give us permission to store and process that content only to operate the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Review before you submit
AI-generated text can contain mistakes. Read every resume before you send it anywhere, and make sure everything on it is true. You are responsible for what you submit to employers.
No warranty
Resumai is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We don't promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Resumai is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it.
Ending your use
You can stop using Resumai at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end access for violations of these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we do, we will change the date above, and continuing to use the service means you accept the new version.
